| Brown Sugar | 2 teaspoons |
| Dark Soya Sauce | 1 teaspoon |
| Dark Sugar Sauce | 2 teaspoons |
| Ginger | 1/2 slice |
| Light Soya Sauce | 5 tablespoons |
Cut garlic and ginger into small pieces. Mix everything together in a small pot and cook on low heat.
Gently stir constantly to make sure sugar does not burn onto the surface of the pan.
Turn off the heat once the sauce has thickened.
Serve with drained mie goreng noodles and deep fried shallot (optional) and garnish with a sprinkle of finely chopped spring onion.
