Chef Stefano LaCommare is the head chef and owner of Stefano’s Trattoria. Chef Stefano was born & raised in a small town in Sicily and was a fisherman most of his life. Working on his father’s fishing boat, his major duty was cooking for the entire crew. The duty became Stefano’s passion for cooking. Stefano moved to America in 1974 and has been a chef ever since. From New York to Orlando, Stefano has owned and operated three successful restaurants with no financial investors or partners. Having outgrown each and every restaurant, Chef Stefano is proud to be at his largest restaurant yet. Stefano’s Trattoria is located in the heart of Winter Springs. Stefano’s Trattoria was put together through his hard work and his family’s dedication to fulfill his dream. Love & passion are two main ingredients you will find at Stefano's Trattoria. Years of experience, dedication, & determination have sharpened Chef Stefano’s fine Italian home-style cooking.

We had an awesome dinner at Stefano's while on vacation in November and can't wait to get back to Winter Springs, Florida for some more of that Traditional Italian Cooking that Chef Stefano is well known for. Thanks to his wonderful staff also.

We have been following chef stefano for over 8 years now. If you enjoy great Italian food then go no place other than here. The food is awesome and the service is even better, you really do feel like your home. Our favorite servers are Chris, Exchelle, J.C. and Sarah. If you want good service...ask for them.

This is truly the ONLY italian restaurant in the Central Florida area that is worth going to. Other restaurants claim to be Italian, but this is true authentic italian food. Being that our family is Italian we are very picky, but Stefano's IS the place for amazing food. Everyone that works for Stafano's is the most friendliest people you will ever find at any local restuarant. You will leave there feeling wonderful, full and as if you just left your Italian Grandma's home!! A MOST try if you havent already!! We will see you there as we are there mostly every Friday Night!!
